FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
These answers explain how our booking-agent service works. The quote and booking confirmation will contain the terms for a particular stay.
Is sending an enquiry a confirmed booking?
No. We use your requirements to source options. A booking is confirmed only after you choose an option, instruct us to proceed and receive written confirmation.
What information helps you find suitable accommodation?
Tell us the worksite or preferred area, dates, likely duration, number of guests, rooms or separate beds required, parking needs, vehicle sizes, budget and any accessibility or practical requirements.
Do you act as the accommodation provider?
Dig Stays acts as a booking agent. We find options and arrange the chosen booking on the business client's behalf with the relevant accommodation provider.
Can you arrange short and long stays?
We can source options for different project durations. Availability, minimum-stay rules and prices vary by provider and dates.
Can a booking be extended?
Ask as early as possible. Extensions depend on availability and are confirmed only in writing.
What happens if plans change or we cancel?
The cancellation and amendment terms agreed for the booking apply. They will be supplied with the quote or confirmation. Contact us promptly so we can explain the options.
Are credit terms available?
Credit terms may be available to approved business clients. They are subject to approval and written confirmation.
Is parking or an entire house always included?
No. We source against your brief, but facilities depend on the selected property. Tell us about vans, vehicle height and the number of spaces needed.
How are prices presented?
Your quote sets out the accommodation rate, our booking service and any applicable booking-specific charges. Our service is included in the quoted rate unless stated otherwise. You approve the price and terms before we book.
Can you handle regular weekly bookings across several sites?
Yes. We agree who sends requirements, who approves bookings and which project or purchase-order references your accounts team needs. Send each new brief to the same contact; we coordinate the search, booking and requested changes. See our managed accommodation service.
Do we need to pay each accommodation provider?
No. Once you approve a booking, Dig Stays handles provider payments and sends your business one invoice covering the agreed bookings. This avoids setting up a new payee for each host. Payment dates are agreed before booking; any credit terms require approval and written confirmation.
Where can you source accommodation?
We source across the UK according to the project brief. Our location guides include Birmingham, Manchester and London.
