COOKIE NOTICE
Our approach
We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking, session-recording tools or optional analytics. Because those technologies are not running, we do not display a banner asking visitors to accept them. This notice remains available from every page so visitors can see what the website uses.
What these technologies are
Cookies, local storage, pixels and similar technologies can store or access information on a visitor's device. Some are needed for security or a feature requested by the visitor; others may measure use or support third-party content.
Technologies we use
Tests completed on 7 September 2026 found no cookies, local storage or session storage set by the homepage, contact page or accommodation-enquiry page before interaction. The pages request font files from Google Fonts. The contact and accommodation-enquiry pages request FeedSpring and DigitalOcean-hosted files for the Instagram gallery, and the accommodation-enquiry page requests a date-picker file hosted through GitHub Pages. Those providers receive technical request information such as the visitor's IP address, browser details, requested file and time of request. Following an Instagram, WhatsApp or other external link takes the visitor to that provider's service and privacy terms.
When online forms are enabled, essential hosting and security technologies may be used to deliver the form and prevent abuse. Any such technology will be limited to the security and submission purpose described here.
Website measurement
We may use aggregate hosting and performance reports to understand page visits, referring websites, broad geographic patterns and page speed. We do not use these reports to build individual visitor profiles or follow people across other websites. Google Search Console may also provide aggregated information about search impressions, clicks and indexing; it does not require a tracking script on this website.
Your choices
There are currently no optional cookies or tracking technologies to accept or reject. If we introduce a technology that requires consent, it will remain disabled until the visitor chooses to allow it. If we use the UK statistical-purpose exception for low-risk aggregate measurement, we will provide clear information and a simple, free way to object.
